Honouring Meaghan's Memory. Supporting Maddie, Jesse, Elijah & Family.
On Sunday, 16th August, The Girls Who Gather community will come together for a very special Memorial Hot Girl Walk in loving memory of Meaghan Bowler.
Earlier this year, one of our own TGWG girls, Maddie Bowler, experienced the unimaginable when she lost her beautiful sister, Meaghan, in a tragic incident while living in the United States.
Meaghan was just 33 years old and leaves behind her two precious little boys, Jesse (2) and Elijah (9 months).
Today, Maddie and her family are preparing for an incredibly difficult journey as they work towards bringing Jesse and Elijah home to Australia, where they can be surrounded by the love, stability and support of their family.
As soon as we heard Maddie's story, we knew we wanted to do everything we could to help.
This walk is about so much more than putting one foot in front of the other. It's about showing up for one of our own, honouring Meaghan's memory, and reminding Maddie and her family that they don't have to face this journey alone.
Together, we hope to ease some of the financial burden associated with travelling to the United States and navigating the legal process of seeking custody of Jesse and Elijah, with the dream of bringing them home to Australia.
Whether you join us on the walk, purchase raffle tickets or simply share this event, every act of kindness will help make a difference.
This Walk Is Open to Everyone
This is a community fundraiser and EVERYONE is welcome.
Whether you're a member of The Girls Who Gather, a friend, family member, colleague, local business or simply someone who would like to support a family during an incredibly difficult time, we would love to have you join us.
Together, we'll walk in memory of Meaghan and her beautiful family.

💗 One regular hot coffee and mini croissant, generously sponsored by our amazing friends at LEMMY'S, for the first 100 attendees to arrive on the morning of the walk
💗 One beautiful community goodie bag filled with vouchers/products donated by generous Central Coast businesses, for the first 100 attendees to arrive on the morning of the walk
Please note that the complimentary coffee, croissant and community goodie bag are available to the first 100 people who arrive on the morning of the event. This ensures those who wish to support the fundraiser by purchasing a ticket or making a donation, even if they are unable to attend the walk, can still contribute to this important cause.
Community Fundraising Raffle
We've been incredibly overwhelmed by the generosity of businesses from across the Central Coast and beyond, who have kindly donated some amazing prizes to help support this fundraiser.
Additional Community Fundraising Raffle Tickets are available for $10 each, with no limit on how many you can purchase.
You do not need to attend the Memorial Hot Girl Walk to purchase raffle tickets. Whether you're joining us on the day or supporting from afar, every ticket purchased helps make a meaningful difference.
Every dollar raised through this event will be donated directly to Meaghan's GoFundMe, helping support the travel, legal and associated costs involved in her family bringing Jesse and Elijah home to Australia.
