The Girls Who Gather x The Hybrid HQ invite you to join us for Reclaim The Night, a powerful evening of community, movement, connection and solidarity on the Central Coast.

This special fundraiser has been created in honour of the beautiful Audrey Griffin, and for every woman who has gone out for a walk, a run or a night out and tragically never made it home safe.

On Friday, 11 September, we will come together at The Haven, Terrigal, before walking and running as one community to Wamberal Beach and back.

This evening is about remembering, honouring, starting important conversations and standing together for something that should never be taken away from anyone: the right to feel safe.

EVERYONE IS WELCOME

Reclaim The Night is open to EVERYONE.

We encourage women, men, partners, families, friends and supporters from across our community to join us. Bring your children, wives, husbands, partners, sisters, brothers, mothers, fathers and friends.

Creating safer communities requires all of us, and we would love to see men standing alongside the women in their lives and actively showing their support for women’s safety.

We encourage everyone attending to bring a picnic rug, beach towel or something comfortable to sit on, as we’ll be gathering together at The Haven before and after our walk/run.

YOUR $30 TICKET

All ticket proceeds from Reclaim The Night will be donated to Stand With Audrey.

By purchasing a ticket, you’re not only joining us for an incredibly meaningful evening, you’re helping us raise funds and stand in solidarity with Audrey, her family and the women whose stories remind us why conversations around women’s safety matter so deeply.

5:00PM | WELCOME + GUEST SPEAKERS

We’ll bring everyone together to officially open Reclaim The Night.

Maddie, Founder of The Girls Who Gather, alongside Cassidy, Women’s Strength Coach representing The Hybrid HQ, Erina, will welcome our community and share an empowering opening message about why we have gathered and what this evening represents.

We will then welcome our very special guest speaker, Kathleen Kirby, to speak with our community.

This will be an incredibly meaningful part of the evening as we reflect on why we are here, who we are walking for and the importance of standing together.

5:30PM | COLLECTIVE WARM-UP

Before we head off, Cassidy from The Hybrid HQ will lead everyone through a collective 5–10 minute warm-up to get our bodies moving and prepare us for the walk/run.

Then it’s time to light up the coastline!

5:40PM | RECLAIM THE NIGHT WALK + RUN

Everyone attending will have the choice of joining one of two groups:

WALK GROUP
Led by the wonderful coaches from Fusion Pilates

RUN GROUP
Led by Cassidy from The Hybrid HQ

Both groups will make their way along the route:

The Haven, Terrigal → Wamberal Beach → The Haven, Terrigal

Whether you choose to walk or run, this isn’t about pace or fitness.

It is about moving together.

Bring your glow sticks and walk or run alongside our community as we light up the coastline and create a visible show of solidarity for Audrey and every woman who never made it home safe.

Women and men will stand side by side because creating safer communities and supporting women’s safety is something we all have a role in.

APPROX. 6:30PM | RETURN TO THE HAVEN + DINNER

Once our walk and run groups return to The Haven, attendees who received a wristband at the beginning of the evening will be able to collect their LEMMY’S sponsored dinner and Known Stranger Lime & Yuzu Butterfly Pea Tea.

Roll out your picnic rugs and beach towels, enjoy your dinner and spend some time connecting with the people around you.

7:00PM – 8:30PM | COMMUNITY + CONNECTION

We’ll spend the remainder of the evening together at The Haven, sharing food, conversation and connection after what we hope will be an incredibly powerful experience for our Central Coast community.

There is no pressure to stay until 8:30pm. You’re welcome to stay, connect and enjoy the evening for as long as you would like.

WHY WE’RE WALKING

We walk for Audrey.

We walk for the women whose stories have stayed with us.

We walk for the women who never made it home.

We walk for our daughters, sisters, mothers, partners and friends.

We walk because women deserve to be able to walk, run and exist within their communities without fear.

We walk because conversations around women’s safety should involve everyone.

And on this night, we stand together.

Join The Girls Who Gather x The Hybrid HQ for Reclaim The Night, a Central Coast community fundraiser, walk and run at Terrigal Haven in honour of Audrey Griffin and the women who never made it home safe.
